Across Iowa, many organizations are ready to support individuals and families in need, but when a crisis happens, it can be difficult to know where to turn. Thrive Iowa is a community-led initiative built on the collective impact model to help families move from crisis to stability. Using resource navigation, strong partnerships, and a shared case management system, Thrive Iowa brings services together so families can access help through one coordinated system.
Participants work with Thrive Navigators who connect them to existing community resources, speak up for their needs, and help coordinate services among providers.

Thrive Iowa uses a collective impact model that brings organizations and those with lived experience together to better support families in our community. Many local nonprofits, faith-based groups, government agencies, and community leaders already serve families or have the power to provide supports to advocate for family wellbeing. Thrive Iowa helps connect these efforts into one collaborative system.
The Black Hawk County Thrive Iowa Community Alliance brings together organizations, community leaders, elected officials, service providers, and individuals with lived experiences to align goals, identify gaps, and strengthen support for families in our community. By collaborating across sectors, such as justice, mental health, housing, employment, education, and more, we create a unified response that helps families move from crisis to stability.
Any nonprofit, business, faith-based group, government agency, or community member is welcome to join.
Your involvement matters. By participating, you help address root challenges, share resources, and build a stronger, more responsive community. Join us in creating lasting, meaningful impact for families.
