Black Hawk County Prepares for COVID-19 Governor Kim Reynolds confirmed Saturday March 14, 2020 at 8:30pm there is now community spread of COVID-19 in the state after an 18th Iowan tested positive for the virus. The new case is an older adult (61-80 years) in Dallas County.

The Black Hawk County Health Department is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak. There are no confirmed cases in Black Hawk County. In partnership with EMBARC, here is an update on the latest information in 7 different languages: Spanish, Karenni, French, Karen, Burmese, Lingala, and Swahili.
